Buff Techs is a student-operated department of the University of Colorado's Office of Information Technology. The main objective is to provide technical support to students, faculty, and retirees regarding computer hardware, software, and other IT-related issues. Much of the job consists of troubleshooting and resolving problems related to computer software, applications, and hardware related issues. During my time at Buff Techs, I gained experience interacting with clients in a professional and customer-friendly manner. Assisting with inquiries, service requests, and guidance on technology-related matters. On many occasions, I assisted clients with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, laptops, mobile devices, and other technology peripherals. I also helped install, upgrade, and configure software applications on various devices. Ensure that software is up-to-date and compatible with the university's IT standards. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues and escalate complex problems to a higher-level support team if necessary. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new skills as needed. Warehouse Worker – Navy Exchange

My job as a warehouse worker at the Navy Exchange (NEX) played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Navy Exchange business by meeting the supply needs of the store. My position mainly consisted of Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments of goods and materials as well as ensuring that items conform to specifications and are in good condition. Another aspect is to maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems. Pick and pack items for outgoing shipments based on customer orders. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to the appropriate departments or individuals. Safely move, stack, and store materials within the warehouse. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Arrange goods in a systematic and accessible manner for efficient retrieval. Prepare shipping documents, labels, and other required paperwork. Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities. A unique responsibility I was given was to sponsor incoming shipments at the gate onto to the Naval base. This position taught me to have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, inspection, and order fulfillment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle a dynamic work environment. Along with maintaining physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of manual labor in a warehouse setting.

As a Virginia Beach lifeguard, I was required to attend various training such as surf rescue, CRP/AED certification, and basic athletic training to stay in shape. My responsibilities as a lifeguard were to monitor the waters and make sure everyone on the beach remained safe as well as manage any missing children or any other various problems that could occur on the beach.
